All managers, named coaches and volunteers must complete a background check and the appropriate certifications outlined below prior to the season's start. Unfortunately, this process currently requires the use of multiple platforms with login credentials for each one. We are hoping to have this more streamlined in the future.

Tee Ball, Baseball and Softball Managers & Coaches

- Abuse Awareness Training Course - Needs to be completed every year
- Diamond Leader - Needs to be completed only one time as a first-time baseball coach
- First Aid/CPR - Offered in-person each year by SCLL at no cost (dates and times TBD each season) or you can take it on your own in-person or online through your preferred company and provide a copy of CPR card
- Fundamentals - One manager or coach from each team needs to attend this in-person session if never attended (dates and times TBD each season)
- Introduction to Pitch Smart - Needs to be completed only once for first-time baseball coaches coaching AA Division and up
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest - Needs to be completed every three years
- Manager/Coach Contract - This will be taken care of during the pre-season Manager's meeting. If you cannot attend, please sign and send to: [email protected]
- Background Check - This is prompted during the registration process

Abuse Awareness Training Course - This certification MUST be uploaded into your Sports Connect account. You can access the instructions on how to upload this certificate HERE.
All Other Certificates - For all other required certifications, please send them to the appropriate division commissioner below:
