Salmon Creek Little League welcomes all children to participate in baseball and softball. If you know a child who wants to play but whose family may be unable to afford the costs, please encourage them to join and let them know that SCLL offers scholarships through the Josh Hojnacki Scholarship Fund. This fund not only covers registration fees but can also provide basic equipment such as a glove, cleats, or baseball/softball pants.

Josh Hojnacki was a passionate baseball player in SCLL until 1993. Tragically, on January 1, 2006, Josh lost his life when a tree fell on the truck he was riding in during bad weather. He was 25 years old at the time. Click here to read more about Josh.

To honor Josh’s memory, his parents partnered with SCLL to establish the scholarship fund, ensuring that any child who wants to play baseball or softball has the opportunity. SCLL dedicated the 2006 season to Josh, and we are proud to say that the Josh Fund continues to grow each year, helping more children, regardless of their financial situation, get outside, have fun, and play baseball and softball.
