Volunteer Opportunities
Want to help the league? Then please consider volunteering as a Manager, Coach, Umpire or Board Member
If you want a rewarding hobby, to make new friends, to feel that you are putting back something into the community, to look at the park on a Saturday morning and see a crowd of kids enjoying themselves, and think "I helped to improve their lives" then volunteering with Little League is for you.
Interested in volunteering?
This is a 100% volunteer ran organization and we have opportunities for every skill level—Scorekeepers, Coaches, Team Parents, Umpires, event staff, field clean-up teams, coordinators, board members, and more. All local Little Leagues are required to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams. Individuals are also required to complete and submit a Little League Volunteer Application to their local league.
To volunteer for any positions or activities
The Registration page includes the volunteer application form with additional instructions. You can also select the option to volunteer when registering your child as a player. Note that the mandatory Little League background checks are now handled electronically as part of the registration process.
Managers, Coaches, and Parent Volunteers
If you are going to Volunteer to Manage, Coach, or be a parent volunteer for your players team, please sign up child first and either submit your interest during that process (Remember in baseball the MANAGER is the "Head Coach" while the COACH is the "Assistant Coach").

Umpires
If you plan to be a volunteer umpire you will need to register for that role via your account. If you do not have an account yet, please visit our registration page and select Volunteer. From there you just need to follow the steps of the registration process.

Other Volunteers
If you are going to Volunteer in any capacity from Scorekeeper, Snack Parent, Field Maintenance, Board of Directors, etc...you’ll need to register for that separately. Salmon Creek Little League can use your help if you can volunteer your time. The more participation we get from our community the better the experience will be for the players.
